“I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come…” (Luke 3:16)
Baptism is the normal way that a person becomes a member of the Body of Christ, the Church. Anyone desiring baptism is welcome to receive this sacramental rite at St. Teresa of Ávila Ecumenical Catholic Community. If you or your child has been denied baptism at another Catholic church, you are welcome to receive a valid baptism here.
The process is simple. Send us an email stating your interest, and we’ll help you set a date during a designated Sunday liturgy or at another convenient time.
No person will be denied baptism because of race, gender, or marital status of the parent(s). All are welcome to be incorporated by baptism into the Body of Christ and the family of God.
You and your family are invited to become active members of our loving, diverse, and caring Christian community.
